Principal Real Estate Europe the pan European real estate investment manager, will be supported by an End User Support and Managed Public Cloud service provided by Lanware
Lanware today announced that it has been awarded a three year contract to provide its IT outsourced services to Principal Real Estate Europe (formerly known as INTERNOS), a London-headquartered, pan-European real estate investment manager which is part of the Principal Global Investors Group (PGI), a Fortune 500 company.
As the preferred technology outsourcing partner of PGI in London since 2014, Lanware has been awarded the contract with Principal Real Estate Europe following PGI’s recent acquisition of the European real estate investment manager. Lanware has already built successful IT partnerships with two of PGI’s European investment boutiques, Origin Asset Management and Finisterre Capital LLP.
Lanware will manage and transform Principal Real Estate Europe’s Microsoft Public Cloud and desktop environment with a key focus on improving security, mobility and disaster recovery. This will include increased end user support in eight countries. As with PGI, Principal Real Estate Europe has ambitious growth plans and the technology partnership with Lanware will ensure that the business can scale its infrastructure quickly and efficiently as it increases its real estate assets under management.
Roger Lees, Chief Operating Officer for Principal Real Estate Europe says, “Following the acquisition of INTERNOS by PGI, we were looking for a strategic IT partner that could both meet our growing needs as we expand our business in Europe and also assist us in continuing to enhance our information security controls. We are looking forward to working with Lanware with its track record in supporting financial services, cloud services and information security.”
Henry Duncombe, Managing Director of Lanware adds, “We have worked closely with PGI investment boutiques for many years and are delighted to be adding Principal Real Estate Europe as a client. We look forward to building a long term partnership, providing more innovative ways of working, reducing security risks and freeing them up to focus on their core business.”
