Lanware, providers of outsourced technology services for investment firms and financial institutions, is pleased to announce that it has been shortlisted as a finalist for the prestigious UK IT Industry Awards 2015.
Presented by Computing, BCS and Chartered Institute for IT, the UK IT Awards recognise individuals and organisations who have demonstrated excellence over the past 12 months and who have contributed to the development and deployment of innovative IT systems that improve business operations. Lanware has achieved finalist status within The Small Supplier or VAR category which is designed to recognise excellence in the provision of IT systems by a small or startup technology firm with fewer than 200 employees.
Lanware was shortlisted for the award due to its work with Aerion Fund Management for its cloud-based outsourcing service and the high levels of professionalism that Lanware provided in the transition, outstanding excellence in the enduring service, and the innovation which has delivered a platform which is the envy of much larger organisations.
Susan Cave, Senior Business Analyst at Aerion Fund Management said: “We have achieved far more than ever expected. We knew our infrastructure needed updating and our expectations were that we would upgrade and refresh following a model similar to what we previously had. We then found Lanware and their completely innovative and industry focused way of outsourcing technology. We now have a system which to the users feels simple and elegant, and just works. We all know that simple and elegant are the most difficult to achieve, and it is for that reason I and all my colleagues at Aerion feel that Lanware should win this award.”
Henry Duncombe, Managing Director at Lanware, said: “We are thrilled to be supported by our client Aerion and shortlisted for this esteemed award. We never under-estimate the trust placed in us by our clients who must carefully manage their critical outsourcing arrangements and this nomination is a great recognition for our on-going commitment to them and our ability to deliver end to end service excellence.”
The 2015 UK IT Industry Awards will take place on Wednesday 18 November at the Battersea Park Events Arena in London. With over 1,300 guests in attendance, the awards bring together the industry’s leading players for the biggest night of the year.
