Lanware, providers of outsourced technology services for investment firms and financial institutions, is pleased to announce that it has been shortlisted as a finalist in the prestigious HFM European Hedge Fund Services Awards 2016, in the categories ‘Best outsourced technology infrastructure provider’ and ‘Best cloud computing solution’.
Presented by HFM, the European Hedge Fund Services Awards recognise providers in the hedge fund space who have demonstrated exceptional customer service and innovative product development over the past 12 months. Lanware has achieved finalist status within the ‘best outsourced technology infrastructure provider’ and ‘best cloud computing solution’ categories, designed to honour firms that provide excellent service as a vendor of outsourced IT infrastructure solutions and cloud technology for the hedge fund sector respectively.
Lanware has been shortlisted in the awards after demonstrating strong growth over the past year in the hedge fund space, and particularly showing how product and service innovation has helped to meet the specific technology needs of the sector. This was supported by the firm’s work with hedge fund Finisterre Capital LLP who, in May 2015, awarded a three-year contract to Lanware to provide its cloud-based technology outsourcing services and for whom Lanware has developed a tailored technology solution, leveraging the secure private cloud platform previously built specifically for the wider Principal Global Investors (PGI) group.
