Lanware, cloud-based managed service provider for investment firms and financial institutions, has been shortlisted in the prestigious HFM European Hedge Fund Services Awards 2017, in the categories ‘Best outsourced technology infrastructure provider’, ‘Best cloud computing solution’ and ‘Most innovative technology provider’.
Presented by HFM, the Awards recognise providers in the hedge fund space who have demonstrated exceptional customer service and innovative product development over the past 12 months. For the second year running Lanware has achieved finalist status within the ‘best outsourced technology infrastructure provider’ and ‘best cloud computing solution’ categories, and for the first time has also been shortlisted for ‘most innovative technology provider’.
Lanware was shortlisted after demonstrating strong growth over the past year in the hedge fund sector, as well as showing how product and service innovation has helped to meet their specific technology needs.
Lanware is now a leading vendor in the provision of “Community Cloud” within the Financial Services Sector. The company recognised that using a collaborative effort to share cloud infrastructure between several organisations from a specific community would bring about a number of advantages for those individual organisations. The Community Cloud gives them an secure and compliant IT service meeting all their technology needs as well as reduced cost and effort that would normally be attributed to a more traditional approach. This enabled them to focus on their fund and attracting new investment.
