Edgbaston Investment Partners selects Lanware to fully transform their technology into the Microsoft Cloud.
With the increasing pressure of technology change, the need to modernise and increased cyber risks, financial firms are increasingly looking for specialist IT partners who can help them navigate their way into the public cloud, but also manage the risks. That’s why we’re delighted that Edgbaston Investment Partners has selected Lanware to help them transform their technology and safeguard their IT services, all on the Microsoft public cloud.
As their managed IT and cyber-security partner, Lanware will deliver its flagship Finance Forward 365 service, which will provide the latest modern workplace technology and allow their team to operate globally, independent of device or location. Moving away from a fixed private cloud platform, Edgbaston will embrace the full extent of Microsoft’s 365 and Azure offering and open the door to further transform its business with the Microsoft Power platform.
Edgbaston undertook due diligence with a cloud readiness assessment before selecting Lanware’s end-to-end Finance Forward 365 service. The service includes a fully managed Azure Virtual Desktop, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams for unified collaboration, with compliant recording from Verint.
Edgbaston will adopt the full suite of native Microsoft enterprise security controls. It has also adopted the market leading Darktrace Enterprise Immune System technology, which integrates with the Microsoft Cloud and uses AI to constantly build up a picture around every user, end point and application. Combined with Lanware’s Security Operations Centre, it will protect against cyber threats and ensure the firm can adhere to strict regulatory requirements.
Matthew Myles, COO, Edgbaston Investment Partners says, “As we navigate the business through regulatory complexity, it’s reassuring to know that Lanware is taking care of our technology. While we focus on our core business, Lanware will be ensuring we can work securely from anywhere, on any device – all via Microsoft Cloud.”
Henry Duncombe, MD, Lanware adds, “Totally modernising using the public cloud is a big step change for many established financial firms and we’re committed to taking them on this journey without the risks. We’re looking forward to helping Edgbaston embrace all the benefits of Microsoft 365, Azure and the Power Platform to digitally enable their business in a safe and secure manner.”
