With our target of raising £30K to celebrate Lanware being 30 years old, the Lanware 30 for 30 fundraising campaign is continuing at pace.

In November, a bake sale was held in the office with some amazing baking demonstrated by the Lanware team. A range of savoury delights were on offer including cheese straws, sausage rolls, Mediterranean tarts and pea & potato pies. Those who needed an afternoon sugar rush had a choice of sweet treat favourites including brownies, rocky roads, cupcakes and banana bread, all washed down nicely with tea, coffee or Prosecco.

This successful event was attended by partners and clients and our heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who kindly donated to the two great charities we are supporting.

Our December charity event was a Christmas Jumper & Games Day which again involved all of Lanware with clients and partners coming along for some festive cheer. The games included Indoor Golf and Basketball, Trivial Pursuit, Heads & Tails and the fun day finished with the traditional Lanware quiz “Tell a fact no one knows about you”.

Both these events have kept the donations rolling in and we have now raised nearly 20% of our overall target with still another nine months to go!

The Lanware Team of three who are attempting the Jurassic 100k Challenge this year are well into their training, although they are looking slightly portly after the Christmas period! The event is not until May, so there is still plenty of time to get more training done and drum up sponsorship for this momentous challenge.

We have more events planned for 2024 which will be publicised soon, including a Lanware golf day and quiz night. It would be great to have as many partners and clients getting involved with these, so keep a lookout for more details.
